WEBSITE PLANNING GUIDES

01 / PLANNING

What to prepare before a website project

+

Start with a clear description of your business, the people you want to reach and the main action visitors should take. A short brief is more useful than a long list of visual effects.

Collect your logo, photographs, service details and contact information. Identify which pages you need and who will provide the text. If you have an existing site, list what you want to keep and what needs improvement.

A project estimate depends on the page count, design, features and content requirements. Discuss those details before agreeing on a scope.

02 / DESIGN

Why mobile layouts need their own decisions

+

A smaller screen changes how people read, navigate and interact. Simply shrinking a desktop layout can make text crowded and important actions difficult to find.

On mobile, prioritize the introduction, key information and next step. Keep navigation understandable, buttons comfortable to tap and forms focused on essential information.

Review the website on actual phones as well as desktop previews. Check text wrapping, images, menus and long sections before launch.

03 / MAINTENANCE

A simple routine after your website goes live

+

Launching a website is the beginning of maintaining it. Keep a record of hosting, domain and administrator access, and decide who is responsible for updates.

Before major changes, make a backup and confirm how it can be restored. Review important forms, contact details, product information and key links regularly.

Use a test environment for substantial changes where possible. After updates, check the visitor journey from the homepage to the main conversion action.
